 Letter from the Centre Manager

The Sydney Harmony Centre was established in March 2006 as a city extension to the beautiful Harmony Centre in Cooranbong. The aim was to build a community in Sydney where we could all grow together. We hoped to eventually run all the Path of Ease and Grace seminars in Sydney, run weekly satsangs on Sunday and have meditations running every night and classes every weekend.

What started in a small room in Crows Nest in 2006 has grown into a huge centre now located at 176 Parramatta Road, Camperdown, Sydney, where we have a large seminar room with seating capacity for 200, a smaller seminar room for 15 and four beautiful healing rooms. We now run the whole Path of Ease and Grace seminar series, have meditations running every week night and seminars every weekend. In only three years our original vision has come to fruition, supported by our divine and ever expanding community of people who have found their spiritual community and home at the Harmony Centre.

For many of us the Sydney Harmony Centre is a home away from home. I have often heard people say they feel the worries of the day fade away when they kick off their shoes and enter the door to the centre.

In the Sydney Harmony Centre it is our hope that everyone feels welcome, accepted and loved just as they are. We aim to provide a safe and fun environment in which to learn, grow and make friends. The spiritual path is so much more fun with friends and family to help us along the path!

This group is focused on Divine energy activation, group healing, problem solving, awareness and focus training, plus a host of spiritual practices suitable for all.  This is a mentoring group that helps guide participants to put into practice in their daily lives the tools they have learnt at the Harmony Centre and elsewhere. This seminar is perfect for those who would like mentoring through change in a group environment to keep moving onwards and upwards. The emphasis is on individual spiritual development plus world service to promote beneficial physical world changes.

Kundalini Yoga  with Louise Davey (Wahe Durga)                               7.45am – 8.45am
Kundalini Yoga is often referred to as the Yoga of awareness. It balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system and enables us to harness the energy of the mind to reach new levels of awareness of self, strengthen your capacity to deal with life's challenges and to experience deeper levels of joy in life.

SUNDAY SATSANG                       9.30 – 11.00 am
With Jenny Nurick, Rachel Anderson, Sioux Burns
Sunday Satsang is a combination of group chanting, guided meditation, purification practices and spiritual teaching.  Participants receive group healing as well as instruction on practical ways to deal with challenging life circumstances. There are opportunities to ask questions and to hear inspiring words. Those who attend regularly find that their lives improve remarkably and their understanding of Divine law comes to life in an unfolding self realisation.
