Satsang -  Blessings and Initiations with Shakti Durga

            Shakti or Holy Spirit is the unifying, feminine power of the Universe. It is that which underpins creation and which brings to us all that our soul requires or desires in order to come into conscious reunion with the Divine. Guru’s are people who have been trained through many lifetimes to cultivate inner shakti. Through initiation and blessing, the flame which is lit within the Holy Master is passed on to the budding disciple or student. So called spontaneous epiphanies or self realization (such as Shakti Durga experienced on 28 October 2006) are always the result of blessings from Guru either earlier in the same life or in a previous life.

            The Master knows that every soul is God in disguise, and in our school there is no ‘one up one down’ relationship implied in giving blessing. It is a tool that has benefits for both parties, who are both able to merge in unity and absorb ‘pre-digested’ divine energy. This is purifying, affords the protection of the Guru to the disciple, raises the vibration and expands the energy field of both parties. It contributes to the dawning of higher consciousness, deeper self awareness and life mastery. The Guru always seeks to bestow the Shakti of their own Guru in an unbroken lineage that flows from the Godhead. This is a practice of ‘vertical’ unity.

            Many of our satsangs give opportunity for those who wish to receive blessing to do so. Priceless, transformative and bliss filled energy flows from the Maha Guru of the school, and Shakti Durga derives the energy from Her Guru Parameshwari. Guru is not a person but Shakti, the Goddess, who has countless heads and arms (initiated guru’s) who enable (from the centre called the race of man) and do Her work in the world.

• The meaning of devotion
• Why blessings are helpful
• Blessings will be given to any who wish to receive them
• Why initiations are helpful
• Initiations will be given to any who wish to receive them. (First initiation in our school is available to anyone)
• Our initiation system will be explained.

Anyone can come to these sessions and first initiation is offered to people of all ages, even new borns.
